Geneace Williams, J.D., Ph.D.
With more than two decades of helping clients develop legal and business strategy, Geneace Williams (affectionately called Dr. G) is a trusted advisor offering innovative leadership counsel. Described by others as a thought-leader, Dr. G is the Managing Director of OLW Communications, Inc. She has a long history of leading change and managing conflict and crises through critical problem solving, and today she adds value by helping leaders drive results in their leadership acumen, business, and business goals.
Prior to integrating her broad background into a Consulting practice, Dr. G enjoyed a distinguished 20 year career as an attorney, business advisor and counselor. Previously, she had responsibility for a national litigation practice for McDonald’s Corporation where she led in-house and outside counsel and advised senior company leadership on numerous matters. Her work achieved global impact, as she enjoyed the privilege of developing and refining worldwide best practices, including working with and training lawyers from North America, South America, Europe and Asia Pacific. Geneace is also trained and skilled in conflict resolution and crisis management and served as an integral part of a 24/7 global crisis management team.
Dr. G is the author of Leadership DASH: Breaking Through the Finish Line, an award winning and insightful work that gets at the heart of how people become leaders of influence. Having spoken in diverse venues around the world, Dr. G’s strategies for leadership have positively influenced many.
She holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) with Ethics as one of her main areas of inquiry. Her scholarly work integrates critical legal studies and theology as a method for developing new models for achieving social justice. Dr. Williams is a part-time faculty member teaching Business Ethics and Law, Religion and Humanities to undergraduates as well as various Leadership courses to graduate students.
Dr. G travels globally speaking and teaching on leadership and strategy, personal development, and the value in strategic and transformative change. She is an ordained minister passionate about the issues that affect women and the underserved. She is active in the community and is the recipient of many awards and accolades. As an agent of change, she is guided by her life’s principle: "A leader's impact encourages others to purpose."
